The Dane County Food Council currently meets virtually on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 5:30 pm in a hybrid format. Meetings are held at the Lyman Anderson Center located at 5201 Fen Oak Dr. in Madison, WI. The posted meeting agendas also include instructions on how to register to attend the meeting virtually, via a Zoom link.

Prior to each meeting, DCFC will post an agenda listing topics to be discussed, special guests, and location. You can also reference this page to find detailed minutes from each public meeting.
The Dane County Food Council consists of 2 County Board Supervisors and 7 community members. Community members represent various aspects of the food system including food security, nutrition, urban agriculture, food production, processing, distribution, retail and waste. The Council typically meets monthly and work teams focus on issues and bring recommendations to the full Council.
Appointments are for three year terms and are staggered. New appointments are usually made in April or May of each year.
